Our Cosmetic Standard

Due to the custom nature of the handcrafted furniture we build, no two pieces are alike. If you do not appreciate the variations in the woods, patterns, or colors of our pieces, then our furniture is not for you. By placing an order with us, you understand, agree, and accept the conditions of our cosmetic standards. Please contact us for further inquiries.

Important Disclosures and FAQs

Please read our disclosures below for any questions about the standard and quality of our work. Our disclosures include information regarding the care required to maintain our stunning pieces.

MOVING WOOD

Solid wood may expand and contract due to temperature and humidity. Real wood expands when moisture is high and contracts when moisture is low. Humidity changes with different climates temperatures, and seasons. These natural changes enhance the beauty and uniqueness of each piece. The structural integrity, durability, and quality are not affected by these changes.

STAIN COLOR

Because each piece is one of a kind, the color of each piece may vary—even with the same stain color! The knots and grain patterns can appear lighter or darker than others once stained.

SPACES IN WOOD

As our wood is not manufactured or machine made. As a result, it may have knots, grain variations, splits, cracks, gaps, etc. In addition, there is a natural space between the board where the pieces meet together. We sand our tables well and make all spaces as tight as possible. But we believe these minor imperfections are what make our pieces beautiful.

WARRANTY

Due to these variations, no representation, warranty, and/or guarantee is made with respect to the precise color, luster, or appearance of finishes of any product.
